Understanding Your Neurotype. Building Strategies That Fit.

Coaching for Autism, ADHD and AuDHD

Autism and ADHD are not character flaws or failures. They are neurotypes that influence how you think, feel and move through the world. When you understand your neurotype, you unlock choices, strategies and ways of living that genuinely support you.

Neurodiversity coaching is for anyone who wants to work with their brain instead of pushing against it.

ADHD, Autism and AuDHD Coaching Tailored to Your Neurotype

What Coaching Involves

Neurodiversity coaching is a structured yet flexible process where we focus on what matters most to you. Together we explore:

  • How your brain processes information
  • What drains your energy and what boosts it
  • What you want to achieve
  • What barriers you face
  • How you can build strategies that match your strengths

I bring coaching expertise, neurodiversity knowledge and lived experience. You bring your goals, insights and truth. We build solutions collaboratively.

Who My Coaching Supports

I primarily work with:

  • Adults and older teens aged 16+
  • Individuals who are newly diagnosed
  • People who self identify or think they may be autistic or ADHD
  • Employees navigating workplace challenges or burnout
  • Self employed and creative professionals wanting more structure
  • People funded through Access to Work
  • Parents, carers and supporters wanting to understand neurodiversity
  • Companies seeking neurodiversity coaching training to create inclusive workplaces

Many clients come to coaching after a lifetime of feeling misunderstood. Others come simply because they want things to feel easier. Whatever your starting point, coaching adapts to you.

What We Can Work On

Executive Function Skills

Planning, prioritising, organising information, task initiation and switching.

Time Blindness and Energy Drift

Realistic routines, pacing, buffer planning and low effort systems.

Overwhelm and Transitions

Tools for sensory overload, emotional recovery and smoother daily shifts.

Memory, Retrieval and Information Management

Capture tools, naming systems and personalised memory supports.

Clarity and Communication

Meetings, email boundaries, navigating feedback and advocating for what you need.

Working Life and Career

Systems for confidence, structure and sustainable performance.

Coaching is not therapy or mentoring. It is a forward focused process that helps you create meaningful, workable habits based on how your brain naturally functions.

Access to Work: Funded Neurodiversity Coaching

Many clients qualify for coaching funded through the UK Government’s Access to Work (ATW) grant.

You may benefit from Access to Work funded coaching if you:

  • Feel overwhelmed at work
  • Experience challenges with organisation, planning or focus
  • Mask heavily and feel exhausted
  • Are starting a new role
  • Are self employed and want reliable structure
  • Need help communicating your needs or requesting adjustments

Eligibility

You do not need a diagnosis to apply. What matters is how your neurotype affects you at work.

As part of Access to Work, you may be eligible for:

  • a grant to help pay for practical support with your work
  • support with managing your mental health at work

For these types of support, you must:

  • have a physical or mental health condition or disability that means you need support to do your job or get to and from work
  • be 16 or over
  • be in paid work (or be about to start or return to paid work in the next 12 weeks)
  • live and work (or be about to start or return to work) in England, Scotland or Wales - there’s a different system in Northern Ireland

For mental health support, you can only claim Access to Work once.  If you’ve received it before, you cannot apply again.

For more information follow the Government website: Access to Work: get support if you have a disability or health condition: What Access to Work is - GOV.UK

  • Access to Work can cover 100% of your coaching if you are self employed, or partially fund it if you are employed.

If you would like guidance on applying, I am happy to talk it through during your free consultation.
